Welcome to Before The Lights; a group of health professionals based in London who train people all over the creative world for TV, films, live tours but most importantly everyday life.
We’ve been lucky enough to build up a pretty special group of members here at the club, so we thought it was about time for other people to get to know some of them as well as we do.
In each episode we'll joined by one of our clients to discuss how they prepare physically and mentally for upcoming roles, the challenges of juggling life in the creative world and how they got it wrong along the way.
Expect awe-inspiring stories about landing dream jobs as well as a healthy serving of how earth-shatteringly humbling Hollywood can be.

This week we're joined by someone with a lot (almost too much) to say, which makes him a perfect guest.
Comedian and broadcaster Lee Peart covers a worrying amount of ground including his route into comedy, how Bottoms Up, his wine podcast with Alan Carr, came to life and the correct pronunciation of his surname.
There's also (somehow) time for him to create a questionable alter-ego, explain how he tries to healthy on and off stage, and discuss the time he "saved a life" at Pure Gym.

S4 E31: JAZ HUTCHINS
Actor and GoHub founder Jaz Hutchins joins us to discuss his journey to creating the UK's professional acting workshop.
He discusses being inspired rather than intimidated by your peers and how the people around you can be one of the most important factors in any walk of life.
Along the way there are also shoutouts to a questionable former colleague and a youth basketball coach who helped shape Jaz's path in their opposing approaches to self-improvement.

S4 E30: LUCY BOYNTON
Our latest guest has range. From appearances in some of the biggest biopics of all time, to starring in Wolf Alice videos and finding the time to perfect roly polys Lucy Boyton has it all. And every last inch of those talents (and the embarrassing mishaps/ crossed wires along the way) are covered in this week's podcast.
Lucy, Dave and George look back on her career so far and discuss how she readied herself for stepping into the worlds of Queen and The Beatles and how she adapts when her schedule doesn't say "act in a massive film about one of the most successful bands in history".
She also explains how she physically and mentally prepares for different characters and how Game Of Thrones fans have helped her understand her upcoming part in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
