<p>On the 20th anniversary of one of the darkest days in Oxford United's history, Dan and James spoke to one of the main figures who played for the club as they dropped out of the Football League before almost coming straight back.</p><br><p>Chris Hargreaves, or 'Greavsie' as he's fondly known, did not hold back in his assessment of the state of United on and off the pitch in the 2005/06 season.</p><br><p>He almost led United to an immediate return from the Conference in 2006/07 before leaving for Torquay - helping them back into the league - and then returning to the U's in 2010 as a member of the squad that famously gained promotion at Wembley.</p><br><p>It's an interesting chat....to say the least!</p><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
