Ep: 255 – Local support needed, big matchups and an NIAA update
This week on Behind the Bench, the episode begins with a look at the fundraiser online for 2024 Carson High School grad Ayden Marhevka. Marhevka was a guest on Episode 108 of BTB and his family is looking for community support toward his medical expenses. After that, the chatter shifts to the NIAA’s decision on a new executive director, or at least so we think? That news will come down later this week, but Host Carter Eckl and producer Jeff Mulvihill, Jr. take an advanced look at their decision. The episode finishes with a preview of the football matchups ahead as well as a look back at Sierra Lutheran’s big win over Coleville. Plus, regional and state tournaments are underway as certain fall sports hit the home stretch of their season.
