Behind The Curtain with Kevin Martin of Candlebox
Go Behind The Curtain with Kevin Martin of Candlebox!
Coming to EPIC Event Center on July 7th, Candlebox lead singer Kevin Martin joined us to talk about the evolution of the band and how they’ve made it to where they are today.
Getting his start in a Seattle shoe store, Kevin first connected with the city’s music scene when local bands would stop by to pick up flyers from his co-worker, who happened to manage many of the area’s artists. Originally the drummer of a punk band, Kevin went into the studio to record some demos and unexpectedly became one of the most iconic frontmen of the ’90s.
“I’d never sung in a band before... All of a sudden I’m the singer of this band, and 35 years later I’m still doing it.”
Emerging from Seattle’s ’90s grunge scene, Candlebox quickly made a name for themselves with chart-topping hits like “Far Behind” and “You,” while also sharing the stage with legendary acts like Metallica and Rush.Get 🎟️ to see Candlebox LIVE with support from Nigel And The Heat on July 7th at EPICGreenBay.com.
