Prophets or Predators? The Early LDS Practice of Teenage Brides
For decades, the LDS Church has taught that its early prophets were called by God to restore His gospel. But behind closed doors, these so-called prophets engaged in a disturbing pattern targeting teenage girls for marriage under the guise of divine revelation.
In this episode, we expose the unsettling reality of early Mormon polygamy, revealing how Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and other high-ranking LDS leaders married girls as young as 12. These were not just marriages—they were acts of coercion, manipulation, and control, all justified by claims of celestial rewards.
Many of these marriages can still be verified on FamilySearch, but where records are incomplete, we’ve compiled all of our sources for independent verification.
