Ninety men answered that post, most of them saying the same thing: me too. Another man wrote that he has a great job, a happy marriage, and hardly any friends. That post drew over seven hundred replies. In this episode of Being a Man, we look at why friendship stops happening to men after thirty. When you were younger, you were put in the same place, at the same time, for years. Then life got full, and nobody told you the rule had changed. Now friendship does not happen to you. You have to build it. University of Kansas researcher Jeffrey Hall found it takes around fifty hours to make a casual friend, ninety to make a real one, and over two hundred to make a close one.    Roommates Running a Household
