About Being Lutheran Podcast
The Being Lutheran Podcast co-hosted by pastors Jason Gudim, Brett Boe, and Adam Osier. It is a walk through the Lutheran Book of Concord, episode by episode and article by article. This podcast started off as the adult Sunday School class at Faith Free Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN, taught by Jason. Brett brings an outsiders' perspective to the material and keeps Jason mostly on task, and Adam lends the perspective of an educator who has also been a parish pastor. The podcast is produced by Brian Ricke.

And so the difference between a sedes, a seed of doctrine, and a proof text is the direction the arrow is pointing at. And so a seed of doctrine, you have a circle around the passage pointing away from the passage saying, this establishes the truth, and it allows us to go from point A to point B. A proof text has the circle around, this is what I want to be true, and you're pointing somewhere back in Scripture and say, see? […]
