Life doesn’t always go the way we planned. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing what to do next; it’s finding the faith to keep going when everything feels stacked against us.
In Week 4 of our Faith It series, Faith to Keep Going, we look at the life of Joseph in Genesis 39, along with Hebrews 12:1–2 and the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16. Through their stories, we’re reminded that lasting faith starts with knowing who we are and trusting God, even when our circumstances don’t make sense.
Because even in the darkest places, God is still with us. And the place that feels like a prison can become a place of praise.
Faith isn’t about having an easy road. It’s about trusting God enough to keep walking.

Faith to be Faithful | Ryan Lutz
How do you make the right choice when the wrong choice feels easier?
In Week 3 of our Faith It series, Pastor Ryan Lutz looks at the story of Joseph in Genesis 39:1–12 and what it means to stay faithful when life gets difficult and temptation pulls us in the wrong direction.
Joseph's story reminds us that we're never as alone as we might feel. Even when our circumstances are far from what we hoped for, we can choose to see beyond what's right in front of us and trust that there's more to the story.
Because faith isn't just about what we believe. It's about how we live, the choices we make, and who we trust when doing the right thing isn't easy.

Faith in the Pit | Ryan Lutz | Genesis 37:12-36
What happens when life takes you somewhere you never expected to be?
In Week 2 of Faith It, Pastor Ryan Lutz explores the story of Joseph in Genesis 37:12–36 and the moment his life takes a dramatic turn. What started with a God-given dream quickly leads to betrayal, rejection, and a pit. Joseph's story reminds us that sometimes the road to God's purpose takes us through places we never wanted to go.
Not every setback is the same. Some are potholes that slow us down, while others feel like pits that threaten to keep us stuck. But what if the pit isn't the end of the story? What if the very place that feels like a setback becomes a platform for God to show His power?
Faith doesn't mean pretending life is easy or ignoring the reality of our circumstances. It means choosing to trust God even when we can't see what He's doing or understand where He's leading us.
Faith is an internal decision that leads to an external position that can have eternal power.
Wherever you find yourself today, don't underestimate what God can do in the middle of your pit. Your current circumstances don't have to define your future, and your hardest season doesn't have to be the end of your story.
Welcome to Faith It: Trusting God in the Pit, the Palace, and Everywhere in Between.
