Counting down to Oilers time and the Kool-Aid is delicious
It's been another boring week around here with the Oilers and NHL at large still right in the middle of the off-season dead zone, but I've still got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never (https://oilersnation.com/category/better-lait-than-never) ready what little has happened anyway. On today’s podcast, I discussed the Oilers inching closer to the pre-season, Stan Bowman's pre-season comments, goalie gear, and more. Needless to say, it's been a busy week around here.I kicked off this week's episode with a look at the Oilers' training camp, and how it's going to be interesting to see how things play out with a condensed tune up schedule. The Oilers sign Alex Formenton and the reaction was exactly as expected
It's been another boring week around here with the Oilers and NHL at large still right in the middle of the off-season dead zone, but I've still got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never (https://oilersnation.com/category/better-lait-than-never) ready what little has happened anyway. On today’s podcast, I discussed some Oilers signing Alex Formenton, the boys are back in town, training camp, and more. Needless to say, it's been a busy week around here.I kicked off this week's episode with a look at Alex Formenton after the Oilers announced this morning that they had signed the former Ottawa Senator to a one-year contract. Needless to say, given Formenton's history, the news was not exactly well received by large chunks of the fanbase. Of course, the Oilers have a history of giving players their second chance, so this isn't exactly a new approach for the franchise.
