Missions Emphasis Week 2026-2027 - Dr. Danuta Case
What if following God's calling means surrendering everything you thought your life would look like? Through a powerful testimony of growing up under communism in Poland and following God's unexpected call to America, the speaker reminds us that God's plans often lead us beyond our comfort, abilities, and expectations—teaching us to depend on His strength rather than our own.
Jesus declared, “I must be about my Father's business” (Luke 2:49). That same calling challenges us today. It's not about where God sends us, what position we hold, or how gifted we are. It's about having a heart willing to say yes. God's calling doesn't begin with knowing where you'll go, but with surrendering your willingness to go.

Missions Emphasis Week 2026-2027 - Alex Nguchu - From Neighbor to Nations
What if reaching the nations begins with the one person you've been avoiding? In John 4, Jesus crossed cultural, social, and religious boundaries to reach a Samaritan woman whom others would have overlooked. That single conversation changed her life and opened the door for many in her community to believe in Him.
Missions isn't reserved for those who travel overseas. It begins wherever God has placed us, through intentional relationships, radical love, and a willingness to step beyond our comfort zones. We are called to love so differently that people cannot help but wonder why.
You don't have to cross an ocean to fulfill the Great Commission. Sometimes, you just have to cross the room.

Missions Emphasis Week 2026-2027 - Rev. Peter DeArruda - Born for Greatness
Drawing from Isaiah 6 and his personal testimony of God’s faithfulness through Elim Bible College, Pastor Peter DeArruda delivered a powerful reminder that we were born for a purpose greater than ourselves. Through Isaiah’s encounter with God, he highlighted three essential visions: a vision of God, a vision of ourselves, and a vision of the world. True greatness is not found in titles, talents, or recognition, but in surrendering to God and allowing His power to work through us. With a passionate call to missions, he challenged listeners to look beyond themselves, recognize the brokenness of the world, and respond to God’s calling with Isaiah’s words: “Here am I. Send me!”
