   When we are going through something hurtful, distressing, disappointing, we exacerbate the pain by falling into the trap of believing that the distress will continue indefinitely and that this one experience will have a detrimental impact on our lives. But studies have shown that we are actually poor at predicting how present events will affect our future emotional states and tend to overestimate the future impact of present negative events. […] Just that, that nice blend of, you know, education plus peer support, plus just, you know, people can be very self -led, but also get, you know, guidance and direction along the way as well. Yeah, Matt, anything you want to add to that? I think it's, in this in general, it's trying to meet the survivor community where they're at. You know, some people like coming to a call once or twice a day. Some people like just going to yoga, some people like the creative aspect of it, some people like the book club aspect of, some people like just the meditation, some people like all of it, some people just come for the long post, so it's giving people choices without overwhelming, so just trying to say, you know, however you want to heal, we have something that can probably fit in there in some way to give you support in between going to your, you know, your weekly or regular therapy appointments.
