The Beyond YOUR Bar Podcast is about the people behind the work. Host Denisa Tova sits down with actors, musicians, athletes, and the people who built something, for unhurried conversations that go past the headline and past the title. Not the highlight reel, the real story of how a life gets made. Guests have included Ice-T and Coco, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Michael Nouri. As featured on E! News. Self-funded, no sponsors, no agenda.
S5 E36: Tracii Guns on Founding L.A. Guns, the Early Guns N’ Roses Days, and Life After the Spotlight
He gave Guns N’ Roses half its name, founded L.A. Guns, and spent four decades on stages around the world. But when Tracii Guns sits down with Denisa, the famous parts of the story turn out to be the least interesting thing about him.
This is a conversation about what actually lasts. Tracii talks about the five year old in the back of his mother’s car who heard one Led Zeppelin song and knew exactly who he wanted to be, the plumbing job he walked away from in a single sentence, and the hard won calm he finally found in his fifties. He has blunt, unsentimental advice for anyone chasing a break in music today, the kind that cuts against almost everything the internet promises. And he explains why the thing he now builds by hand in his garage brings him as much peace as any sold out show.
Warm, funny, and refreshingly free of ego, this one stays with you.

S5 E35: Ice-T & Coco on 25 Years of Marriage, Raising Chanel & Why Opposites Don’t Stick (Part 2)
Ice-T and Coco are back for Part 2, and this is where the conversation gets real. Ice opens up about becoming a father at 18 with no mentor and no playbook. Coco shares why there’s no nanny and no housekeeper in their home, and why she proudly calls herself a housewife and a mom. Together they get into what 25 years of marriage actually takes, why people secretly root for couples to fail, and the difference between loving someone and truly appreciating them.
Ice also shares the line that sums up their whole relationship: love isn’t looking someone in the eyes, it’s looking out in the same direction.

S5 E34: Ronn Moss (The Bold and the Beautiful) on Player, Baby Come Back, and His New Life in Italy
For 25 years he was Ridge Forrester, the face at the center of The Bold and the Beautiful. For music fans, he is the voice and bass behind Player and the number one hit Baby Come Back. But when Ronn Moss sits down with Denisa, what comes out is the story of a self-described man of few words who spent a lifetime learning to step out of the shadows.
Ronn talks about the record executive who listened to Baby Come Back and told the band flatly that he did not hear a hit, and the twist of fate seven months later that changed everything. He shares how a childhood spent around John Wayne, Roy Rogers, and the rodeo legends of old Hollywood earned him a nickname that stuck, and how his mother once taught Elizabeth Taylor to ride a horse. He explains why he traded the spotlight for a 300 year old stone hut in the south of Italy, and what all that quiet has given him.
This is a warm, unhurried conversation with a man who found his freedom on a stage and is now happily finding his peace far away from one.
