About Beyond The Studio

And no… we’re not just talking about dance! 🎙️ Beyond The Studio is a podcast from the team behind DH Dance Academy, created to continue the conversations that matter to young people and families beyond the classroom. We bring together inspiring people, experts, educators, parents and those with lived experience to talk about the real topics families are navigating today — from confidence, mental health and body image to anxiety, exam pressure, social media, wellbeing, parenting and life in the performing arts. Because supporting young people means supporting the whole family. It’s a space for parents, young people and educators to feel seen, supported and inspired, with honest conversations, practical tools and different perspectives to help navigate life beyond the studio. At the heart of it all is what we believe that the arts are about so much more than dance. They can build confidence, resilience, connection, creativity and skills that stay with you for life. Beyond The Studio is our way of taking those values beyond the studio and into everyday life. So listen on the school run, on a walk, with a cup of tea or whenever you need it.. and come join the conversation. ✨
