From Scratch: An Interview with Emily on Meal Planning, Gatherings, and Getting Ready for Sukkot
In this episode, I talk with Emily, who cooks everything from scratch and has built her own system for planning meals, from everyday dinners to feeding a crowd at group gatherings. If meal planning has ever felt like the hardest part of your week to get a handle on, this conversation is full of practical, real-life help.
We also talk about how she gets her family ready for Sukkot, the planning that goes into it long before the feast itself arrives. Whatever your own kitchen rhythm looks like, I think you'll walk away with at least one idea you can use this week.

Stewardship: Why You Were Created to Be Productive
This episode is a little different, it's a Bible study I shared with a group of women on stewardship, recorded live. We look at the parable of the talents, at Joseph as an example of faithful stewardship even in difficult circumstances, and at the idea that we were created to be productive, to actually give a return on the investment Yah has made in us.
This one goes a bit deeper than our usual planning talk, but I think it's foundational to everything else we cover here. Planning, at its heart, is stewardship, and stewardship starts with understanding why we were made to be fruitful in the first place.

Starting From Scratch: An Interview with Dedra on Building a Planning Habit as a Beginner
In this episode, I talk with Dedra, who's new to both planning and to keeping Shabbat and eating biblically clean, a season of learning several new rhythms at once. She shares her honest tips for building a planning habit from the ground up, how she's learning to track recipes and plan meals, and how she's starting to carve out time for personal Bible study in the middle of it all.
Dedra and her husband are planning for two, in a city setting rather than a farm or homestead, which brings its own shape to what daily rhythms look like. If you're just getting started with planning, or feel like you're learning several new things at once and aren't sure where to begin, this episode will meet you right where you are.
