There are a lot of bad ideas making our lives worse, but stand-up comedian Alec Flynn has some bad ideas of his own that might make our lives better. Every other Thursday, Alec Flynn gives an education on the bad ideas of our time using the lost relic that is the overhead projector. Laugh at the absurdity of Alec’s chaotic-good energy, and leave feeling just informed enough to survive the next two weeks.
Hello again, it’s us, the man built like the tootsie roll owl and his almost silenced counterpart Emmett. Here to bring you another important news update about our Midterm Elections. It’s going to be the last election we have! Alec takes us through the nostalgia of what elections used to be in America, and what they are currently. To know the history helps us be prepared for the future. In today’s Bad Ideas episode, Alec will give you the history, showcase the present and provide the antidote for the future when it comes to the right wing trying to rig elections. F*ck Clarence Thomas.

The Cornell 7 and Men's Silence
Attention all you spineless limp f*cks who have the moral backbone of an éclair. This episode is a serious one. One that dives into the systems of the patriarchy. And more so, the benefits that those systems showcase to the boys who stay silent. How silence is rewarded with power in the future. This silence leads to a perpetual lack of accountability amongst men and a lesson that is taught that says “do what you want and this behavior will go unchecked and unpunished.” But not with Alec and not with his guest for today’s episode Kelly Ryan. Join us as they discuss the horrors of how this system brutalizes women and individuals at large. And leads us to actionable steps we can take to prevent horrific events like the Cornell 7 (more like 57) from happening in the future. And to the men who continue to speak out and hold other men accountable we salute you. Continue speaking out and saying something. Alec and Emmett will always do the same.

This Is How The Power Grid Collapses
Well well well look who we have here, Brad Bird called and he wants his Iron Giant Cosplay royalty check in the mail. I don’t know what any of that means, much like I don’t know much about today’s episode of Bad Ideas with Alec Flynn. In this episode Alec talks to us about The Power Grid and the inevitable ‘Power Grid Collapse.’ Aging infrastructure, no real emergency planning, and extremist groups could create the perfect storm that our systems are not ready to handle. However, Alec has found hope in the form of a very familiar Bostonian face. So grab a glass of fresh water while you can, start researching how to make potatoes from your own shit and enjoy this episode of Bad Ideas (minimal Italian-accents this time).
