That's right! The Big Pete team are joined by Lady Bathurst from the Bathurst Estate. Listen as three Yorkshire puddings are on their very best behaviour!
We interviewed Lady B during the show's pack-up, so you may hear the occasional reversing beeper in the background, but it certainly doesn't detract from what is a fascinating conversation.
Lady B tells us how the idea for the Cotswold Show came from Lord Bathurst's passion for farming and his desire to educate the public about the agricultural industry.
We also discuss her time as High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, during which she discovered that, once service animals retire, pet insurance can be extremely difficult to obtain. The cost of caring for these four-legged veterans can place a huge financial burden on the handlers who continue to look after them. As a lifelong dog lover, Lady B established the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA) to help cover veterinary costs and ensure these remarkable animals receive the care they deserve. https://www.nfrsa.org.uk/
We talk about her love of motorbikes, her unforgettable joyride in Big Pete around the Bathurst Estate and, much to her delight, annoying the neighbours… one of whom happened to be her mother-in-law!
Lady B also gives us one of the greatest name drops we've ever heard, explains her unique way of dealing with burglars, and finishes the episode with a ghost story.

Stu Sheep
Joining us is one of the presenters and demonstrators from the famous Sheep Show, which appears at nearly every agricultural show throughout the UK.Stu tells us about his incredible journey from New Zealand, where he grew up working with animals, learning to break horses and train dogs, to rodeo riding in Canada. He then found himself working at a popular petting farm in England during the summer months in the early 1990s. We discuss how the Sheep Show came about, how he was headhunted to become part of it, and how he and Richard, the show's original creator, developed it into the iconic attraction it is today as they toured the UK each summer. We also talk about horse whispering, understanding dogs, and where Stu's adventures have taken him—including the time he found himself with gorillas on one side and guerrillas pointing AK-47s at him on the other, all because he wanted to see gorillas!

UKs Monster Trucks Nationals Russ Harmon
One day, at one of the very first Truckfests, a microphone was thrust into his hands and he became the voice of Truckfest. Soon afterwards, one of the first Monster Trucks in Europe, from Sweden, made a guest appearance at Truckfest, and when that truck crushed cars, Russ was bitten by the bug — he had to be involved with Monster Trucks!
He and Truckfest nurtured and supported many of the UK Monster Trucks that were freshly imported, such as CANAM Rocket and Carolina Crusher, which was rebranded as Bandit. Truckfest even imported Bigfoot. In time, Russ sold the idea to his boss that Truckfest should own its own Monster Truck.
A failed attempt to buy Super Pete led to the purchase of Heavy Metal, which became Big Pete (formerly Kodiak), followed by the purchase of Heartbeat, which became Grizzly. The final import was Kaptain Insano, which was rebranded as Jurassica and later sold on to become Swamp Thing.
Since leaving Truckfest, Russ has commentated at several outdoor events before securing a residency in the Live Action Arena at Santa Pod. He helped broker the deal that created Podzilla and was instrumental in developing UK Monster Truck Nationals at Santa Pod, the UK's largest independent Monster Truck show.
