[…] So he was still smoking while he was still taking smoke breaks while I was in labor. Still was smoking and then would smoke a whole lot and then come in the house or come in the hospital room and immediately, like, pick up the baby without washing his hands. And so he was constantly exposing the baby to second and third degree smoke. Um, and so I think it was like a few days after I give birth, we end up at the pediatrician's office and it's the baby's first, um, pediatric appointment. And, um, The very first thing that she says to us when she looks at us is she comes a little bit closer to him and she sniffs him and she's like, I can tell that you're a cigarette smoker. […]
