Bitcoin Buy Limits! Aussie Banks Set New Rules | Bitcoin in Brief, Episode 15
One of Australia's biggest banks has announced new restrictions on how much of YOUR OWN MONEY you can transfer to buy Bitcoin.
Westpac is introducing a $10,000 monthly limit on payments to identified cryptocurrency exchanges and brokerages from 1 December 2026 — with no option to request a higher limit or exemption.
The bank says it's protecting customers from scams. But this raises a much bigger question:
