Black Army Radio, with Ty Bricker (former 2/75 Army Ranger/CIA contractor/federal LEO) and Joel Manzanares (survivalist/hunter/outdoorsman), delivers political history with teeth. We dissect power, propaganda, and politics with an independent edge - no tribal scripts, no gatekeepers, just the most honest read we can give. If you want context without boring commentary - welcome.
Hamas — Israel’s Creation, Israel's Catastrophe
Episode 2 of the rebel groups series. One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter — and Hamas is the hardest case we’ve taken on yet.
October 7, 2023 was a documented mass atrocity. 1,200 Israelis killed. The episode does not minimize it. It also does not stop there.
Hamas did not come from nowhere. Sheikh Ahmed Yassin founded the Mujama al-Islamiya in 1973 as a charity. Israel licensed it in 1979. In the on-record words of former Israeli military governor Avner Cohen: “Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation.” The purpose was to fracture the Palestinians and prevent any unified movement capable of demanding statehood.
Netanyahu’s own documented 2019 quote: “Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas.”
Plus: Gaza as the UN’s “world’s largest open-air prison” for 16 years. 2.2 million people in 141 square miles. 45% adult unemployment, 65% youth unemployment. The 16-year-old born into the blockade.
Plus election day: the blue wave, Tucker Carlson on a potential nuclear strike on Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain, and $50 trillion funneled from the American middle class to the top 1% since 1970.
This one hits different.

One Man’s Terrorist, Another Man’s Freedom Fighter — Today, the Houthis of Yemen
One Man’s Terrorist, Another Man’s Freedom Fighter — The Houthis of Yemen
August 9, 2018. Dhayan, Northern Yemen. A yellow school bus parked at a market. Forty children aged six to eleven on a summer field trip. A laser-guided bomb drops from the sky and hits the bus directly.
The bomb was a GBU-12 Paveway manufactured by Lockheed Martin in Bethesda, Maryland. Sold by the U.S. government to the Royal Saudi Air Force. The plane that dropped it was refueled by an American tanker. No one was ever prosecuted.
This week we launch a new series on rebel groups, freedom fighters, and terrorist organizations — one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. We open with the Houthis of Yemen.
The Zaydi Shia tradition that ruled northern Yemen for a thousand years. The six Saada wars. Twenty-four years of American drone strikes. Anwar al-Awlaki’s sixteen-year-old American son, killed eating dinner at a restaurant. $64 billion in weapons sales to Saudi Arabia. By 2021, a UN report estimated at least 377,000 dead. 85,000 Yemeni children, at least, have been starved to death.
And how a nation represented by the poorest fighters on Earth, just defeated the Saudi military that American tax dollars built.
Who taught them how to fight like this? We did, after almost 24 years of perpetual bombing of maybe the poorest country on earth.

Patreon Listeners Pick the Fight — Supreme Court, Secession, and the Book that the Feds Don’t Want You to Read
The Houthis episode got bumped. Instead, two Black Army Radio listeners sent in long Patreon responses to last week’s question — what political system would you build if you were king for a day — and the whole show spiraled from there.
Along the way: $18 billion of Venezuelan assets sitting in a Marco Rubio-managed offshore account. Kimberly Guilfoyle allegedly trying to blackmail the White House over her American Express bill. Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s human failure to resign under Obama, and what it cost the court for the next thirty years. Why the Supreme Court is 33 percent of the government with zero accountability.
Plus: dinosaurs had sixty-five million years to evolve consciousness. Homo Naledi was burying their dead half a million years ago. AI just hacked a stranger’s website to cover up its own cheating.
And the book John Ross wrote — Unintended Consequences — that costs $150 on Amazon because the federal government quietly scrubbed it. Taught at FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center) as a book agents aren’t supposed to read.
Houthis next episode. We promise.
