A THIN LINE BETWEEN HEALTH & WELLNESS

We invite you to join in and listen to In-Depth conversations regarding the critical difference between health and wellness—and why understanding this distinction is essential for Black families. Season 4: Episode 1 -Title: A Thin Line Between Health and Wellness In this episode of Black Families Rising, hosts Grinder "The Strong Dad" Spencer & JASA LOVE dives deep into the critical difference between health and wellness—and why understanding this distinction is essential for Black families. Health is what your doctor measures—your blood pressure, cholesterol, and weight. But wellness is bigger—it’s your mental clarity, emotional stability, and spiritual grounding. The truth is, you can be “healthy” without truly being well. So how do we bridge the gap? How do we ensure we’re not just surviving but thriving? In this powerful conversation, we break it down: ✅ The importance of education and advocacy in our health journeys. ✅ Why mental and emotional wellness must be normalized in our communities. ✅ The role of community and support systems in achieving true well-being. Our health is the foundation, but wellness is the goal—and together, they empower us to live longer, stronger, and with purpose. 🎧 Tune in now, and let’s rise together—mind, body, and soul! 📢 Join the Conversation: What’s one step you’re taking toward BOTH health and wellness?
