[…] I know we've seen that in some other studies and things before, but this definitely reiterated that. So 63% of the participants in the study reported experiencing sexual violence since the age of 18. And this was highest amongst cis-bi women, so three times as likely as women in the general population. And it was followed closely by trans, non-binary, and gender diverse by plus people where it was 4.5 times as likely as the general population. So a lot more prevalence of sexual violence. And as you would expect as well, there was a higher prevalence of psychological distress, 28%, and recent illicit drug use, 24%. […]
