<p>Kaspien is the indie/art rock music pseudonym of Ottawa-born artist Karim Rostom. With a deep passion for storytelling, Kaspien's first EP, DIVER, explores themes of ocean conservation through the telling of a dark, nautical fable. Pairing striking lyrics with dreamy and emotional melodies, Kaspien's compositions are earnest and filled with purpose. As a composer, Kaspien has scored multiple short films, as well as an award-winning theatrical dance piece (NUIT, dir. Sophie Goyette-Hamels).
