Call of Aresta | D&D & Daggerheart Campaign | Ep 52 - Pt 2 | To the Corrupted Realm
Join us as we begin our campaign | Call of Astera! To the Corrupted Realm! This episode changes everything. As the players battle against the Corruption they will discover even the rules are not safe! For the first time in the campaign, the party has crossed into the Corrupted Dimension—a twisted reflection of their world where even the rules of reality have changed. To reflect this, we're doing something bold: switching from D&D 5e to Daggerheart by @DarringtonPress (https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UCtmb9_WFNKoMsJS1WR2Kb7A) mid-campaign.This system shift isn't just mechanical—it's thematic. When the party enters the Corrupted Realm, they step into an entirely different way of being. And when they return to the Material Plane, they'll return to 5e. From now on, the system you see depends on the realm they're in.In this episode, they begin their descent into the heart of the corruption, seeking its source before it spreads beyond repair. But nothing here is what it seems... and survival is no longer guaranteed.Call of Astera | D&D & Daggerheart Campaign is a long-form actual play set in a fully homebrewed world. Astera is a godlike living planet—wounded and weeping corruption from its core. Fate has chosen its champions: a group of unlikely heroes bound to Astera's soul, thrust into a quest to stop the unraveling of reality itself.Episodes air every weekend with:🕓 Part 1 – Saturday | 4pm GMT🕖 Part 2 – Sunday | 7pm GMT🎧 Also available in podcast format on all major platforms—listen wherever you go!If you're enjoying Call of Astera, drop us a message and let us know.
