Called to Christ is a podcast about turning away from culture and running toward the call of Jesus. In a world that defines identity, truth, and purpose on its own terms, Christ calls us to something higher. Just like in Matthew 4:19, He invites us to leave everything — even what feels normal or accepted — and follow Him. No matter your background, your past, or your culture, the call is the same: will you leave the world behind and follow Christ?
Running From God, What It Looks Like, and How to Run Back to Him
Hey Guys!!!
We're back!
I apologize for the inconsistency here lately with posting. I have been experiencing a lot of spiritual, mental and emotional warfare lately and am back at a place to record and post content.
With that being said, that's kind of what this episode is about. Reason why we run from the Lord and run to other things besides Him. Here I will be sharing some of my personal story as to why I have been running lately and ways I have learned to run back to God. I hope that as you listen to this episode it pours into you and speaks to you in whatever way God intends for it to do.
I just pray that if you are like me and have been running from God that you truly use this time to reflect and run back to the Father. I love you all and am excited to share this new season of life with you all as I continue ministering through podcasting as well as go off to school.

There's Beauty In The Thick Of It
A lot of times we get so upset with God thinking He has forsaken us, that He doesn’t want us to be happy because of the bits and bouts of trouble we experience in this life. But that isn’t the truth, it’s the farthest from it. God cares about our happiness but not in the same ways that we do. God plays the long game. Think about it, He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the author and finisher of our faith. Keeping this in mind, we have the understanding that He lives outside of time and can see the ending and that He is able to guide us in all truth because He knows our story because He wrote it. So He knows what is best for you and wants the best for you even if it goes against what you think is happiness.
In this episode we discuss the understanding that there really is beauty in the thick of it but we have to actually ask God to reveal it to us. In this you will gain a sense of clarity and relinquish control and anxiety because you now can see just how the Lord is working on your behalf!
I am Ciceley Nicole, a new seminary student and the host of Called to Christ where we are called from the culture to Christ. If you are looking for someone who is relatable who speaks from experience and won’t sugarcoat the truth, this podcast is for you. I truly believe God has called me to this podcast to pour into those who desire truth, who desire to take their relationship with God more seriously but need the push or the explanation on why following Christ makes things better.

Finding Certainty in Uncertainty
What would you do if you knew that certainty could be found in the uncertainties of life? Would you be confident in Christ even though what you see seems as though there is no way out? What if I told you that this confidence can happen as we keep our eyes on Christ.
In this episode we will discuss finding certainty in uncertainty through the scriptures. We will be looking through the Psalm 23, Matthew 11:28-30 and 1 Kings 17. As well as a focus on Jesus and Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:25-31 and how this is a great visual for keeping our eyes on Jesus. In this you will gain a great sense of understanding on just how to find certainty in uncertainty.
This episode is for those of you who, like me, struggle with wanting to be in control of everything and feel as though it’s up to you to get things done. This episode is also for the ones who get caught up in the uncertainties of life and get drowned out by what is going on around them, no longer able to stay afloat mentally, physically and spiritually.
