Don't Birth An Ishmael
<p>God gives promises to each one of us, but His plan to fulfill them will require faith, which means His fulfillment isn’t going to look like what makes sense to us in the natural. We must surrender our natural understanding and plans to follow His leading, because only His leading will fulfill His promises the right way. If we work in our own strength, we will produce a fulfillment that actually wars against God’s intended purpose.</p>

Developing A Strong Spirit
<p>God will not test us beyond our current strength but works to grow our strength through wilderness seasons. We need the strength we gain through the wilderness for future assignments we are not currently ready for. These assignments are part of God’s plan for us, and we will be accountable before Jesus for them someday, whether we were prepared to fulfill them or whether we weren’t ready for lack of enduring the wildernesses.</p>

This process refines and tests us to develop in us the character we need to successfully steward the fulfillment of the promise when it comes. While the promise ushers us into a season of refining, it also propels us through those seasons, knowing God will be faithful to accomplish what His word has spoken.</p>
