#197-Take Control Over The ONE (and only) Thing You Can Control…YOU!

Take control over the one (and only) thing you can control…YOU! Think about the things in your life that you do that maybe aren’t working out so well and control is one of those things that does not work. Trying to control everything and people in your life doesn’t work! It’s like trying to force something that you can’t force like trying to bend a steel bar with your hands. You just can’t! Think about this, doesn’t wanting control only give you stress and make you feel stressed? I know it does. It creates stress in your heart and mind, and in your physical body, as well as creating stress in your family. If you’re focused on what you are called to create, then you won’t have time to focus on all the things you don’t have any control over! It’s hard to create when you’re so busy trying to control everything in your life, there’s no way that you can focus on being creative because creating and being creative, you have to be able to open your mind and let the ideas come. Creating cannot be controlled or forced. When you’re trying to control everything, it’s super exhausting! Have you noticed that? At the end of the day you’re so exhausted, mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically too. It can be very frustrating when you’re trying to control everything and everyone when you don’t get your way, and you can’t have that control that you’re wanting and you’re trying to force. It’s not worth it! Some of the many reasons why you’re trying to control things are because you feel like you don’t have any worth or value, or you’re not important. And, the way that you try to feel valued and feel of your worth is to try and control the things and the outcomes and control people and to get them to do what you want. Other reasons could be that if you grew up in a household where there’s a lot of turbulence or violence and just unhappiness, or people are degrading each other and you feel like you have no control over what’s happening. The only way you feel like you can prevent any of that abuse is to try and control every single thing in your life to make sure that that same thing doesn’t happen to you as an adult. It’s just exhausting and it’s not worth it! You have to take a step back and see what’s going on in your life and decide if that’s what you want. Turn to God for help if you feel like you have to control everything and to ask Him to be able to let that go and to know that He loves you. There’s a better way of doing things. There’s are some of the benefits and payoffs for not trying to control everything, you only have control over yourself: You could sleep better at night. You would be less stressed. You could see all the beauty that exists around you and in this world. You could feel happier. Take an inventory of your life and think about the things that you do. Is it working for you? Is there a blind spot that you have? You can feel better. You can connect your heart and your mind together to be one where you do things and it’s a benefit to you, and then it benefits everyone else around you. Do this today because you have worth and value. You are here for a purpose and you were called to create and when you partner with God amazing things will happen. ⬇️ Let's work together! #196-➡️ 365 Days Of Opportunities!

I hope you had a great New Year celebration and that you enjoyed yourself on New Year's Day. Here in Hawaii, New Year's Eve is crazy. There's a lot of people burning and popping fireworks and pretty much blowing up their money, but it was loud and it was raining. I wanted to talk to you about what you discovered in 2021 because in order to move forward to a new year, you have to actually take a look back at the previous year. Did you even have a chance to think about what you discovered and what happened? The Good The Bad, the Ugly? Did you or were you able to fulfill your dreams? What did you discover in 2021? Did you have a chance to even really think about what you discovered about your dreams, your life, things you need to change? And this is another opportunity for you to see what God has in store for you too. Because I hope you turn to God for help and direction and guidance in your life. I do that all the time because I need help. There's just no way I can live on this earth without God's help. And I want you to do that too because you'll discover some amazing things.
