But if you look at sheet music, It's not just the music on the page. There are rest, like little symbols that tell you, right here, don't play anything. Play nothing. Hold still. Let the sound just sit in the air. And no one in the orchestra thinks that rest sheet music was being lazy right nobody earns it by playing the notes before really well it's actually written in it's part of the piece take the rest out and you don't get more music you get noise did you hear that nobody earns a rest in music it's written in maybe yours are too so this week I have two small invitations for you, and I just want you to notice them, okay?
