Bible Prophecy & The Last Days: The Gog-Magog Invasion | Pastor Harley Doneburg | 02.01.26
In this timely prophecy update, Pastor Harley turns to Ezekiel 38–39 and unpacks the coming Gog-Magog invasion, a massive northern coalition that Scripture says will rise against Israel in the last days. After reminding the church that Israel’s rebirth (Ezekiel 37) is already fulfilled in our lifetime, he explains that this next stage involves specific nations aligning—Russia (Rosh), Persia (modern Iran), Turkey, Libya, Ethiopia, and others—forming a confederacy that was not in place a century ago but is increasingly visible today. The invasion comes at a time when Israel feels secure, dwelling “without walls,” and while other nations merely question the aggression, God Himself intervenes decisively.
Pastor Harley distinguishes this battle from Armageddon, showing how Bible prophecy unfolds in stages and emphasizing that nearly 30% of Scripture is prophetic—given so believers can trust God’s Word and stay spiritually alert. As global alliances shift, technologies advance, and moral decay mirrors “the days of Noah and Lot,” he warns against distraction and spiritual complacency. Jesus’ exhortation in Luke 21 rings clearly: don’t be weighed down by the cares of this life, but watch and pray. The message closes at the communion table—a reminder that before judgment comes redemption, and before prophecy culminates in Christ’s return, believers are called to remain ready, rooted in the gospel, and anchored in the finished work of the cross.

Bible Prophecy & The Last Days: Ready and Not Deceived | Harley Doneburg | January 11th, 2026
In this message, we continue our study of Bible prophecy by focusing on Jesus’ warnings about deception, apostasy, and the importance of being spiritually ready in the last days. Scripture tells us that many will fall away, grow cold, or be led astray, and Jesus repeatedly calls His followers to watchfulness and endurance.
Through passages in Matthew 24, 1 and 2 Timothy, Thessalonians, and Revelation, we examine the signs of spiritual decline, the dangers of compromise, and the growing deception within the world and even the church. This teaching reminds us that the call of the last days is not fear, but faithfulness.
Bible prophecy is not given to satisfy curiosity, but to prepare the believer to live alert, grounded in truth, and committed to Christ. As we look at what Scripture says about the days ahead, we are challenged to remain steadfast, guard the faith, and stay ready for the Lord’s return.
