It eventually led to the Buddy Program, where Dolly promised every 7th and 8th grader in 1991 that she would personally give them $500 each if they graduated high school. It's likely no coincidence that the dropout rates fell from 35% to 6%. And that's not even the biggest achievement of the Dollywood Foundation, but we'll get there. In the meantime... Number four.
