My Fragrance Taste Has Completely Changed... These Are My Newest Pickups
Jessica is back with one of her biggest fragrance hauls yet, and the Can We Be Fragrant? crew is putting every new pickup to the test!
From Drake's Better World Fragrance House Cloudar, Fugazzi Magic Mango, Diptyque Orphéon, and Frédéric Malle Acne Studios, to hidden niche gems, pear fragrances, rose fragrances, and luxury sandalwoods, we're sharing our completely honest first impressions, blind buy experiences, and whether these fragrances are actually worth your money.
Nigel also takes us through an incredible collection of fragrances he brought back from the Middle East, introducing us to unique scents from Arabian Oud, exclusive private collections, and fragrances that completely changed his perspective on perfumery.
Along the way we discuss:
• Jessica's newest fragrance purchases and whether they lived up to the hype
• Drake's new Cloudar fragrance and the debate around celebrity fragrances
• The best mango, pear, rose, sandalwood, and clean fragrances we've smelled recently
• Blind buys that exceeded expectations... and a few that didn't
• Hidden niche fragrance houses that deserve more attention
• The difference between designer, niche, and private collection fragrances
• Why spraying on skin always beats testing on paper
• How our fragrance tastes have evolved since starting the podcast
• The value of slowing down, buying intentionally, and building a meaningful fragrance collection
• Why TikTok has become one of the best places to build a fragrance community
Whether you're into designer fragrances, niche perfumery, luxury scents, Middle Eastern fragrances, or you're simply looking for your next signature scent, this episode is packed with recommendations, laughs, and plenty of fragrance talk.
