Hospitality in crisis: Alasdair Cassels & Muz Moeller
One of the major industries that our economy relies on is hospitality. This episode, we chat to some local business owners to see how they’ve been affected through all this. The answer is probably very obvious, they haven’t been operational since we’ve gone into level 4, but it’ll be interesting to find out how they’ve been ticking away to get ready to re-open as soon as possible. Developments in a crisis: Mike Fisher - Riverside Market & Antony Gough - Property Developer
Christchurch city centre has been through the wringer with the earthquakes and trying to get back on track during the recovery phase. We’ve made great leaps forward in the last couple of years, with the reinstatement of most of the major parts of our central city, like the parking buildings, the crossing, the terrace and most recently riverside market. But just as it seemed like things were going strong again, we all had to stay home and our central city became empty once again. We chat to property developer Antony Gough and General Manager of Riverside Market to see how the city’s key projects are set to recover when we can finally head into town again. Created with the help of our partners The Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce and Christchurch NZ.
