About Caregiver Mental Health Journal/Luka Bear's Podcast
Luka Bear is an AI companion designed to support people living with dementia and the caregivers who care for them.
Through calm conversation, gentle reminders, and emotional reassurance, Luka helps reduce anxiety, confusion, and feelings of isolation that often accompany memory loss. It provides supportive interaction during difficult moments — whether someone is feeling afraid at night, asking the same question repeatedly, or simply needing reassurance that they are safe.
But technology alone is not enough. Caregivers often face countless questions about dementia, mental health, and how to respond during challenging situations.
That is why we created the Caregiver Mental Health Journal / Luka Bear Podcast.
In this podcast, Luka explores real-life caregiving scenarios and answers many of the questions families face every day — from repetitive questions and nighttime anxiety to emotional distress and loneliness. Each episode helps caregivers better understand what their loved ones may be experiencing and how supportive responses can help restore calm and dignity.
Our goal is simple:
to provide knowledge, reassurance, and practical support to the millions of families navigating dementia care.
