And it's really a pleasure to be here with you and such distinguished experts. So it's always a debate whether to call a change transformative, but I would at least say profound from a U.S. perspective. It's useful to go back to October 6, 2023. I would argue that the Biden administration's approach was trying to limit direct U.S. military involvement in the Middle East, contain Iran, yes, but do so with economic pressure, have attempts at negotiations, increase Israel's integration with Arab states, and in general, try to keep the region stable while concentrating anywhere but the Middle East.
