[…] I believe all developers of all kinds should be able to use LM's. So if you're like SQL's written C, SQL or SQLized written C, at some point, SQLite will probably have native LM features in there. How are they going to go run that stuff? Rust code should use LM's. Go code should use LM's. All this stuff should be able to use LM's and should work in a really good type -safe way. So we took up a really wild approach that said, we can either live in a world where every single one of these people, every single one of these ecosystems builds their own ecosystem, tries to build custom tooling for it, and some tooling will be better than others, some tooling will suck, or we can do something really really wild and do something that no one has tried before, which is we built a programming language that is incrementally adoptable and universally ingestable from any other programming language.
