This is a really fun and engaging podcast with a truly remarkable surgeon, Dr Steve Sarkisian from Oklahoma City, OK, USA. He specializes in truly cutting edge glaucoma therapies and has been an innovator in so many trials for new glaucoma devices and procedures that his middle name is now "MIGS". Ok, I'm kidding, but he is truly remarkable and there is so much to learn from him. Plus he is the only ophthalmologist I know who can give me a run in bench press. Well, probably Johnny Gayton MD too, but still. I enjoyed this podcast so much and I am sure you will too! We feature a new podcast every week on Sundays and they are uploaded to all major podcast services (click links here: Apple, Google, Spotify) for enjoying as you drive to work or exercise. The full video of the podcast is here on CataractCoach as well as on our YouTube channel. Starting now we have sponsorship opportunities available for the top podcast in all of ophthalmology. Professor Stephen Klyce PhD has truly innovated so much when it comes to the cornea, kerato-refractive surgery, corneal pathology like keratoconus, and just about every corneal diagnostic device in our clinics. Every day when we look at a topography map of the cornea to plan cataract surgery and astigmatic treatment, we are relying on his large body of work over the past decades. In this podcast we talk about all of these topics plus important pearls that you must know for success in surgery. You will learn so much. I first met Dr Helen Wu more than 20 years ago when she taught me great surgical pearls for techniques of LASIK (which was very different compared to the amazing technology we have now). She is a truly gifted teacher and professor and has taught refractive surgery to thousands of ophthalmologists over the past few decades. She also has a deep expertise in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and uveitis. She has a keen interest in teaching the Refractive Surgery Alliance fellows from around the world. In this podcast she gives great advice that will help you in your career.
