The Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Colman is a Gothic Revival masterpiece in the heart of Newry city in the North-East of Ireland. Bonus: The Music of Newry Cathedral - Fr Seamus Moore
<p>This is the first in a series of special episodes on the music of Newry Cathedral. This first episode tells the story of the late Father Seamus Moore, cathedral organist and choirmaster. As we will hear, Father Moore died young almost fifty years ago, but his musical legacy very much lives on to this day. </p> <p>This episode is written and presented by Mr Malachy Delahunt. Malachy, a friend of the late Father Moore, is the former principal of Saint Patrick’s primary School, The Meadow, Newry. #6: The Way Of The Cross
<p>In this episode we will finish telling the story of the second great building phase of the cathedral. We’ll solve the mysteries of the bricked-up doorway in the tower and the buried archway under the transept.
