And with that rupture comes so much loss. Not just the loss of a relationship. You lose a picture of the future. What happens to the life I thought I would have? What happens to the holidays, to the family traditions? What happens when our children get married? What happens when grandchildren come? What happens to the memories? I had 35 years of memories.
