Cats & Snacks is a cozy, curious podcast by Brianne Cole-Davis - an educator, artist, and muralist. Here, she talks through creativity, life shifts, spirituality, travel and the process of becoming without having it all figured out. This podcast is a container for her work, following curiosity, and letting life unfold in real time with cats nearby, snacks within reach, and permission to grow along the way.
In this episode, I unveil something I have never really shared online - my gastric bypass surgery and the skin removal I was able to qualify through my insurance. It's on the shorter end because I am a little nervous to share this for the first time, but I know I needed to get it out there! Thanks for listening.

Story Time: Microneedling, Botox, and My Loose Skin
In this episode, I discuss my experience with loose skin! After a lifetime of fluctuating weight, I have different skin and I've wanted to work on improving it. I've tried Botox and other comparable things, but have found that microneedling is an excellent way to improve texture and elasticity. I share some of my experiences here as well as information about my skincare guru, Peggy Sue. Her spa is in Dana Point, California, and I will include the link to her website here. Trying Era: IMPOSTER SYNDROME!

The insane imposter syndrome that wreaked havoc on me for the past week is the topic of this episode because that's exactly what happened... it wrecked my body all week! Over nothing! So spoiler alert: there's no speech here. Just be being extremely real about how I have felt since I shared my last episode, and where that has left me this week. Thanks for listening!

I cover what rose to the surface after uploading and sharing last week's episode which helped illuminate my interest in this path. It was always there - I just didn't have the confidence to admit and pursue it. That changes now.

Trying Era: Shedding part 2
In this episode, I elaborate more on shedding the identity of Fat Brianne and the struggles I've dealt with attempting to shed my teacher identity. This episode is raw, and I did not expect to cry while recording. I left it in because I think vulnerability is important and it is truly how I have been feeling in this journey.

In this episode, I elaborate a little more on the shedding I have done in my life. In this short episode, I discuss childhood trauma around the concepts of weight loss and childhood bullying. I apologize for the abrupt ending in this episode! I recorded an outro that it didn't add on. I am still learning! This is all a part of my trying era, after all. :)
