청소년들은 쉼과 무관한 존재들인가요? 입시지옥에 빠져서 학교와 학원과 독서실을 셔틀하는 우리의 아이들에게 1년 동안의 방학을 허락하는 것은 무모하고 사치스러운 선택일까요? ‘꽃다운 친구들’은 2016년 시작된 민간단위의 첫 갭이어 모임입니다. 중학교를 졸업한 청소년들은 이 곳에서 고교 입학을 1년 동안 유예하면서 다양한 경험을 쌓고 참다운 쉼을 허락받습니다. 이들의 활동을 꼼꼼하게 심층연구한 종단연구보고서(2017-2020)는 ‘꽃다운 친구들’의 경험이 청소년들에게 ‘자기다움’을 발견하고 ‘진로’를 모색하게 해주었다고 얘기합니다. 또 다양함에 눈을 뜨고 평생친구를 사귈 수 있는 공간으로 역할을 했다고 밝혀줍니다. “전 세계 1억 명 서명을 목표로 ‘한반도 평화선언 캠페인’ 벌이는 시민사회종교단체들” (출연 피스모모 문아영 대표)
오는 2023년 7월 27일은 정전선언 70주년을 맞이하는 날입니다. 330여개의 시민사회종교단체들은 이날까지 전 세계를 대상으로 1억 명의 서명을 받는 ‘한반도 평화선언 캠페인’을 시작했습니다. 민의 힘으로 한반도에 항구적인 평화체제를 건설하자는 움직임입니다. 그런데 정전상태를 종전상태로 바꾸는 것은 어떤 의미가 있는 것일까요? 한걸름 더 나아가 근본적인 평화란 어떤 상태를 말하는 것일까요? 단지 전쟁 없는 상태가 평화일까요? CBS광장(16일 오전 8시 CBS표준FM)은 평화교육단체인 피스모모 문아영 대표를 초대해서 최근 시민사회종교단체들이 벌이는 ‘한반도 평화선언 캠페인’의 내용에 대해서 알아보고 정치적 군사적 의미를 넘어서는 평화의 진정한 의미는 무엇인지 함께 생각해보는 시간을 마련합니다.

“한반도평화통일공동기도주일에 다시 평화를 위해 기도합니다." (출연, NCCK 총무 이홍정 목사)
세계교회는 지난 2013년 세계교회협의회 부산총회에서 8.15 직전주일을 ‘한반도 평화통일 공동기도주일’로 정하고 한반도의 평화를 위해서 함께 기도할 것을 결의하고 이를 실천해왔습니다. 그리고 남북한의 교회는 그 이전부터 함께 기도문을 정하고 한반도의 평화통일을 위해서 기도해왔습니다. 그러나 올해 남북한의 공동기도문은 아직 합의되지 않았습니다. 한반도의 경색된 분위기가 결정적인 배경입니다. 그래서 올해는 세계교회가 남한교회가 북한교회에 제안한 공동기도문으로 대신해 예배를 드릴 예정입니다. CBS광장(9일 오전 8시 CBS표준FM)은 NCCK 총무 이홍정 목사를 초대해서 올해 한반도 평화통일 공동기도주일 예배에 대한 얘기와 지난 3월 1일부터 이어온 ‘2020 한반도 희년 세계교회 기도운동‘, 그리고 얼마 전에 있었던 ’민의 한반도 평화협정선언‘ 등 최근 진행된 한국교회의 평화통일운동에 대한 소식을 들어봅니다.
