Advent 2025 Week 4 | What's Love Got to Do With It?

In this Advent Week 4 reflection on Love, Dr. Daisy Dowell—physician at Lawndale Christian Health Center and a member of Christian Community Health Fellowship—invites us to wrestle with a timely and challenging question: What does love have to do with unity and reconciliation?

Speaking out of the collective pain and division of recent years—from racial injustice and healthcare disparities to political unrest—Dr. Dowell reminds us that these moments are not the end of the story. Drawing from Scripture and the biblical example of Nehemiah, she lays out practical, Spirit-led steps for believers to live out love in action: asking and listening well, lamenting injustice, repenting personally and corporately, extending forgiveness, rejecting false narratives, and actively pursuing peace.

At the heart of this message is a clear conviction: we cannot have unity without reconciliation, and we cannot have reconciliation without love. Love is not optional—it is the foundation of the Kingdom and the most powerful witness to the world.

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, this episode challenges us to become the answer to Jesus' prayer in John 17—that we would be one, so that the world might believe. Because in the end, they will know that He is Savior by our love.

______________________________

CCHFTalk is a production of Christian Community Health Fellowship.

CCHF's Mission: The mission of Christian Community Health Fellowship is to encourage, engage, and equip Christians to live out the gospel through healthcare among the poor and marginalized.

CCHF's Vision: We envision a movement of God's people who choose daily to promote healing in marginalized communities in the name of Jesus.

To learn more about Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) and how you can get involved, please visit our website at CCHF.org.
What does it look like to live without worry when the work is heavy, the days are long, and the future feels uncertain?

In this episode of CCHFTalk, we begin with Jesus' words from Matthew 6—"Seek first the Kingdom of God"—and reflect on a Savior who understands exhaustion, sorrow, and the weight of human life.

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Adrienne Lampert, MA, LCPC shares her personal and professional journey in mental health care, offering practical, faith-rooted tools for sustaining joy and peace over the long haul. Advent 2025 Week 2 | Justice & Peace: A Call to Action

In Week Two of our 2025 Advent series, Dr. Robert Campbell explores Justice and Peace as a lived Advent calling for followers of Jesus in healthcare. From the prophets to the Beatitudes, from Afghanistan to Augusta, he unpacks biblical justice and true shalom, and why there is no real peace without justice. With stories from Christ Community Health in Georgia and a practical framework of prayer, obedience, relocation, redistribution, reconciliation, and revival, Dr. Campbell invites students and clinicians to become peacemakers in communities where "things are not as they ought to be."

_____________________________

CCHFTalk is a production of Christian Community Health Fellowship.

CCHF's Mission: The mission of Christian Community Health Fellowship is to encourage, engage, and equip Christians to live out the gospel through healthcare among the poor and marginalized.

CCHF's Vision: We envision a movement of God's people who choose daily to promote healing in marginalized communities in the name of Jesus.

To learn more about Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) and how you can get involved, please visit our website at CCHF.org.
