Season 2 Intro: Exodus
Dear listener, we’re entering Season Two of this podcast, where we journey through the book of Exodus.
At its core, Exodus is about the fulfillment of God’s promises: promises first spoken to Abraham long before Israel existed as a nation. The word Exodus means “a going out” or “departure.” It points to the defining event of the book: the Lord bringing Israel out of Egypt by His mighty hand.
The Israelites have not yet inherited the land of Canaan. They are still living in a land that is not their own. And in Exodus, we begin to see how God leads His people toward that promised inheritance.
So join me in this new season as we explore how powerfully God delivers His people from Egypt as they begin their journey toward the land He promised.
