Todd Sees UFO Murder, True Crime Parasites, Whitley Strieber and the Process Church of the Final Judgement
Spooky season has arrived, and the fellas begin with a look at Whitley Strieber's short story "Pain," which surprisingly foretells a great deal about where his thoughts about the Visitors would go after Communion and may even hint at possible connections to the Process Church of Final Judgment.
After that, we get into the meat of the story: the case of Todd Sees, a man supposedly murdered by a UFO. It turns out that true crime podcasters and UFOlogists may be the real monsters in this case. We go through the newspaper clippings, UFO reports, the police files, and even speak directly with a new source on the case.
As always, it's a deep dive into strange characters who remind us these stories are about real, complex people. However, there is one odd wrinkle at the end. Sometimes the pieces just don't all fit.

Fred Crisman - UFOs, JFK, The Shaver Mystery, and Various Scams

Somewhat like a cross between Grandpa Simpson and Forrest Gump, Crisman was there for it all - the first recovery of UFO metamaterials, implicated in the assassination of JFK, a witness to the strange Deros of The Shaver Mystery, and involved in a litany of "bunko schemes."
While we will go through the more familiar points of Crisman's story, this episode dives deep into his FBI file and period newspaper articles, connecting the dots as much as possible on this bizarre individual who would later be fictionalized on the series Twin Peaks.
