What if the life we have been living is actually meant for someone else? That is the provocative question at the heart of this message, which draws from Ephesians 2:8-10 to challenge us toward a deeper understanding of why we are here. The passage reminds us that salvation is not something we earn or maintain through good behavior. It is a gift, freely given, rooted entirely in grace. But the message does not stop there. It pushes us further, into the often-overlooked truth that grace was never meant to be a destination. It was meant to be a doorway. Once we walk through it, we discover that we were created for good works that God prepared in advance for us to do. The sermon draws a vivid line from the brokenness introduced in Genesis, when what God called good became fractured through human disobedience, all the way to the present moment, where we are invited to participate in God's ongoing work of redemption. We are not spectators in that story. We are participants. The message calls us to stop waiting for a dramatic sign from heaven and to recognize that Scripture has already given us more than enough direction to spend a lifetime acting on. The people around us, in our families, our workplaces, our neighborhoods, are not interruptions to our purpose. They are the very context in which our purpose unfolds.

Feeling Lonely? // September 27th // Noah Rollins
What would it look like if the people around us actually knew us — not the polished, Sunday-morning version of us, but the real us, carrying real burdens and wrestling with real struggles? Acts 2:42-47 paints a picture of the early church that is both convicting and compelling. These believers did not stumble into deep community by accident. The scripture tells us they devoted themselves — to teaching, to fellowship, to breaking bread, to prayer. Devotion costs something. It is not convenient, and it does not happen on its own. The central spiritual lesson here is both simple and challenging: we cannot follow Jesus closely while keeping his people at a distance. God never designed the Christian life to be lived in isolation. The same passage that celebrates thousands coming to faith in a single day also describes believers opening their homes, sharing meals, meeting each other's needs, and knowing one another deeply enough to recognize what those needs even were. That is the model — a large gathering and intimate relationships working together, not as alternatives to each other but as complements. The question the passage presses us to ask is not whether community is important, but whether we are actually pursuing it with the same intentionality the early church did.

What Matters to God // September 20th // Noah Rollins
What does it truly mean to come home? In Luke 15, we encounter one of the most powerful stories Jesus ever told -- a story about a son who takes his inheritance, runs toward what he thinks is freedom, and ends up empty, broken, and feeding pigs in a distant country. But here is the remarkable twist: while the son is still far off, the father sees him and runs. Not walks. Runs. In a culture where no dignified man would ever do such a thing, the father throws dignity aside and sprints toward his lost child. This image shatters every assumption we might have about how God responds to our failures. The story forces us to confront a deep spiritual truth -- sin always promises what it cannot deliver. It lures us with the idea that life would be better if we were in control, if we built something apart from God. But the distant country always runs out. The famine always comes. And when it does, we are left hungry for something the world simply cannot provide. The turning point in the story is a single phrase: "when he came to his senses." Repentance is not just regret -- it is a decisive turn away from what has been destroying us and a movement back toward the Father. And what we discover is that we do not need to clean ourselves up before we come home. The Father is already running toward us.
