Celebrate Messiah

About Celebrate Messiah

Join Rabbi Lawrence Hirsch as he brings his Jewish perspective to the exploration of the Bible and Christianity. Messianic Jews believe Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of Israel and the Son of God. Rabbi Lawrence was raised in a Jewish family in South Africa, and later moved to Australia where he heard the gospel and became a believer in Yeshua HaMashiach. Lawrence now oversees a vibrant Messianic congregation in Melbourne, Australia, and is the Founder and the Executive Director of Celebrate Messiah Australia, a global missions organisation which seeks to "Bring the Message to the Original Messengers", or the gospel to unsaved Jewish people. In this podcast, Rabbi Lawrence delves deep into the Scriptures, uncovering the profound connections between Jewish and Christian faith. Each episode will illuminate the significance of Jewish traditions and culture, the High Holidays, and the enduring importance of Israel to believers today. "Celebrate Messiah" discovers how the Jewish roots of Christianity can enhance your own walk with the Lord. Learn More: celebratemessiah.com.au

   From Dust to Glory

As a congregation, we are walking through a season of mourning following the recent passing of several beloved members of our community. In response, Rabbi Lawrence will share a timely and heartfelt message titled, “From Dust to Glory - What does the Bible say about death, judgment, and eternity?" Join us as we explore a Messianic Jewish perspective on death, the resurrection of the righteous, and the eternal consequences for the wicked. Most importantly, discover the unshakable hope we have in Yeshua the Messiah, who conquered the grave and offers eternal life to all who believe. A key verse is: “Yeshua said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life! Whoever believes in Me, even if he dies, shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4BeR3qnefo&t=685s)–26, TLV)
