1970 War: Kelly's Heroes
"They set out to rob a bank...and damn near won a war instead!"
Kelly's Heroes is surely one of the most loved and fondly remembered WWII movies.
Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland are on a mission to raid a bank vault full of gold bullion in German occupied France. And it turns out to be just as hard as that sounds.

1970 Psycho Thrillers: The Man Who Haunted Himself
You will live every shattering moment of terror with... The Man Who Haunted Himself.
What's better than a film starring Roger Moore? A filming starring TWO Roger Moores obviously. Giving his personal favourite performance, Roger Moore is Harold Pelham, a man who survives a near fatal accident, only for his life to fall apart in the aftermath. Why do people claim to have seen him in places he couldn't possibly have been? Whose car parks outside his home when he's not there? Who is the real Harold Pelham?

1970 Horrorfest: Scars of Dracula
1970 was a bumper year for horror, and vampire movies in particular.
But I'm pretty confident that Scars of Dracula was the only film where you could find George Carter from The Sweeney and that nice girl from Magpie at the mercy of Christopher Lee's Dracula, a previous incarnation of The Doctor, and the worst rubber bats you've ever seen outside a pound shop.
Are you brave enough to face The Scars of Dracula?

Ep 2 - Frankensteinesque: Amicus presents The Mind Of Mr Soames and Scream And Scream Again
This episode is all about Amicus Films, their backstory and their two UK cinema releases of 1970: The Mind Of Mr Soames starring Terence Stamp, Robert Vaughn and Nigel Davenport, and Scream And Scream Again which stars Vincent Price, Christopher Lee or Peter Cushing - or does it?
The story of Frankenstein runs strongly through this episode, not just in the theme of this weeks movies but also in the backstory of Amicus Films themselves and their professional rivalry with Hammer Films.
