Minnesota native Schepers won a national championship with Ohio State before joining the Minnesota Whitecaps and now PWHL Minnesota. Boston native Boyle bounced around the college scene from a national championship at Clarkson, to having a program defunded at Robert Morris, and then fulfilling her dream of playing in a Bean Pot with Boston College.</p>

<p>The Director of Women’s National Team Programs for USA Hockey, Katie Million, crouched into the Top the Tater “van down by the river” for a fun and freewheeling conversation. John King pinch hit for a traveling Tom Chorske, joining Winny and Katie to talk about what the PWHL means for women’s hockey going forward, some exciting new hires for USA Hockey including a head scout and Mama Hughes! John also learned that all athletic genes come from the mother’s side (at least the good ones!). </p>
