6. Cera Art Podcast - Emmanuelle Quertain
Forte de ses valeurs et ambitions coopératives, Cera investit depuis vingt-cinq ans dans l’art contemporain belge. La coopérative n’opte à cet égard pas pour des valeurs établies, mais pour des talents prometteurs qui ont encore besoin de soutien et pour des talents confirmés restés méconnus. En 1998, les activités bancaires de l'ancienne banque Cera ont été reprises par l'actuelle CBC et Cera a continué de son côté en tant que coopérative. Elle rassemble aujourd’hui de nombreux coopérateurs qui investissent dans le bien-être et la prospérité. Dans le cadre des projets sociétaux soutenus par Cera, la collection d'art a également vu le jour. Les 25 ans de la collection d’art Cera, c'est l’occasion de se pencher sur cet ensemble de 579 œuvres d’art provenant de 110 artistes. C'est la raison pour laquelle Valerie Verhack, Commissaire d’exposition en art contemporain au M Leuven, a rencontré Emanuelle Quertain. En 2017, Cera a acquis sa première œuvre. 5. Cera Art Podcast - Anne Daems
In deze vijfde aflevering gaat Eva Wittockx, senior curator hedendaagse kunst bij museum M in Leuven, in gesprek met Anne Daems. In 2001 kocht Cera een eerste werk van haar aan en intussen werden al 15 werken op haar naam in de collectie opgenomen. Daems’ collectie omvat zowel foto’s als tekeningen uit de jaren 90 en 2000. Tijdens haar postgraduaat aan de Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, begon Daems te tekenen en doken haar eerste video- en fotocreaties op. Haar foto’s geven observaties weer in de publieke ruimte. Daarna maakte ze de shift naar films als observatie van een meer intiemere omgeving, de tuin van haar vader. Tenslotte worden Daems’ tekeningen gekarakteriseerd door eenvoudige, minimale constataties in de alledaagse omgeving.
