<p>At Chalk Eastbourne, we chat regularly with local digital professionals who have SO MUCH good advice and knowledge to share about getting into digital careers. We decided to produce a special edition episode of Chalk Talks for students and those looking to start work in the industry.</p> <p>Presented by Donna Fielder and Sarah Cronk, this episode features:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Robbie Lees</strong> (1:55) who completed a digital apprenticeship and now works at marketing communications agency PRG.</li> <li><strong>Will Callaghan</strong> (3:46), Chief Executive Director at TechResort, a CIC that shares digital skills to improve lives.</li> <li><strong>Ethan Brierley</strong> (5:51) from TrueLayer who was inspired by the support and networking he did through TechResort whilst at college.</li> <li><strong>Tom Fielder </strong>(7:24), CTO at custom software company Switchplane, which is behind the Chalk Eastbourne initiative.</li> <li><strong>Steve Rackley </strong>(9:40), a recruiter who found there was a need for a digital community in Brighton and started up Silicon Brighton.</li> <li><strong>Seb Cox</strong> (11:10), animator and film director at Bubble Light Productions, who also teaches at Hailsham Community College.</li> <li><strong>Grace Prior</strong> (13:56), Programme Director at Silicon Brighton who led the Diverse Sussex initiative, which supports underrepresented groups in tech.</li> <li><strong>Stacey Pinkney</strong> (15:32), recruiter at Booksy, who came into the digital sector and joined the Eastbourne-based start-up 18 months ago.</li> <li><strong>Russ Miles</strong> (17:20), software engineer, author and speaker who has a wealth of experience running and working in startups in Silicon Valley and beyond.</li> </ul> <p>We hope this episode inspires you to take a leap and kickstart your career in digital in Eastbourne!</p> <p><strong>This episode is supported by </strong><a href="https://www.switchplane.com/" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Switchplane</a><strong>.</strong></p>
