EP 3: The migrants crisis-an endless walk home

In this episode we discuss the migrants crisis unfolding in India amid the continuing Coronavirus pandemic. As scores of migrants continue to walk miles and miles in scorching heat, battling hunger, thirst, and faced with the life-threatening risk of the Coronavirus, renowned journalist Rajdeep Sardesai talks to us about various aspects of the crisis. Also joining the conversation is Prof Jagdeep Chhokar, a former professor of Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and co-founder of the political accountability initiative Association for Democratic Reforms.  The voices of the migrants featured in the beginning of the podcast are taken from India Today, South China Morning Post, and Hindustan Times. We   salute the courage, grit, and determination of the journalists who reported these stories, covering the crisis from the frontlines of the Covid pandemic.
