Throughout history, God has shown a passion for sending His people to strategic, influential cities. He sent Jonah to Nineveh, Daniel to Babylon, and the disciples to launch Christianity from Jerusalem. As the Book of Acts unfolds, the church shifts to Antioch, and Paul is sent to cities like Philippi, Thessalonica, Athens, Corinth, and Rome. God uses ordinary people for His extraordinary mission, placing us where we live to make an impact. In this podcast, we’ll talk with global leaders who are making a difference in cities around the world.
In this episode, we’re on location in London, England, with the O’Neill family and a group of students who recently returned from a short-term mission trip with partner churches across the city. From prayer walking through local neighborhoods to serving at community cookouts, small group Bible studies, and church planting gatherings, these students and families reflect on what God is doing in one of the most diverse and spiritually hungry cities in the world. Along the way, they share personal highlights—from riding the cable cars over the Thames to worshiping with believers in local churches—and the lessons they learned about faith, mission, and urgency in sharing the gospel. Tune in for a conversation that captures the heart of short-term missions, the power of partnership, and how God uses ordinary families to bring extraordinary encouragement to His church.
